Meet Adoptable Minny

Meet adoptable Minny!

Minny is a 5 year old, female, all black, 35 lb, mixed breed. Minny is very sweet and affectionate girl that is people friendly, good with other nice dogs and nice cats. She loves walking, is good on leash, enjoys sightseeing and sniffing the grass, but is not much of a light hiking dog at this point, but she may warm up to it if she’s exposed to it some more. Minny loves her food, but can be protective of it since she was be an abandoned street dog, not with biting, but with growling and hovering over it. She would do best as perhaps the only dog in the home, or just always fed and gets treats separately with space and responsible awareness by her new family. Minny is housebroken and doesn’t seem to care much for toys, but she hasn’t really been exposed to them either yet. She is really affectionate and loves pets and belly rubs once she bonds to you, which doesn’t take long. She is very quiet, almost never barks, and is house trained. When you have time, she seeks for your love and attention, when you’re busy she will gladly sleep quietly by your side. Minny would do best in a relaxed home perhaps with no kids.

Minnie was originally found along a river with puppies, and her puppies were adopted right away, but she was left unwanted for quite sometime and somehow ended up in a pet store for a year and half, then we were asked to help to her on to find her a home.
