Meet Adoptable Kappa
Everyone meet adoptable, Kappa!
Kappa is a 2 year old, female, brown and black, 40lb, Hound, mixed breed. Kappa is such a beautiful girl with such a loving and outgoing personality that enables her to really enjoy the outdoors, exercise and affection. So walks, hikes, adventures, sniffing all the sniffs, running and playing with other dogs, saying hello to people, along with cuddling and snuggles are her favourite. She would be a good dog for an active person or persons. At this time Kappa does alright on leash and she has done so well with other dogs, as she lives with hundreds, but she doesn’t feel comfortable with new dogs being too forward and dominant and she will remove herself from them and want to go to another area, or she will tell them with a good bark. We are not sure about her and cats yet. This very beautiful girl will be a very loving companion and adventure buddy for anyone who adopts her.
Kappa was dumped and found on the highway as a puppy in Lebanon. She was then rescued by BETA and she tested positive for parvo, she was then treated and thankfully made a full recovery. Then a year later she was bitten by a poisonous snake and survived that as well. Kappa is a born survivor and such a strong girl. Kappa has lived at the shelter since, waiting one day for her forever home to come.
