Meet Adoptable Cali

Everyone meet adoptable, Cali!

Cali is a 4-5 year old, female, 65 lb, black and amber, German Rottweiler. Cali really is a very sweet girl that enjoys relaxed walks, very easy hikes for short periods, and does good on leash and great off leash, but prefers to just lay in the grass and enjoy the breeze. She has done well with other dogs as she lived with hundreds at the shelter, she is very sweet and affectionate with people and she will follow you everywhere you go for love and cuddles. Cali is a very beautiful girl and she will need some help with her hips gaining their full strength again after her dual hip surgery two months ago, but we are here to help with hydrotherapy sessions. We do know about that Cali can be good with respectful children, but we aren’t sure about her and cats yet, but we have a feeling she could do ok with a confident cat. Cali will be so incredibly loving to anyone who adopts her into their home.

Cali has lived at the BETA shelter for over a year now and she was originally found as skin and bones at a horrific 80-100 dog puppy mill in the mountains of Lebanon where she lived her life until she was rescued by BETA. I personally met her on trip to Lebanon last year when we helped with the puppy mill seizure, and she is a sweetheart.
