Meet Adoptable Buttercup

Everyone meet adoptable, Buttercup!

Buttercup is a 4.5-5 year old, female, 65-70lb, tan and white, Golden Retriever mixed breed. She enjoys walks, sniffing all the sniffs, does alright on leash, and loves to cuddle and be affectionate. Buttercup has done well with other dogs as she lives with hundreds, has been good with respectful kids and she loves people. Now, she is in need of a diet and more exercise, so someone that likes to be active and outdoors would be good for her. Buttercup will be a very loving companion for anyone who adopts her.

Buttercup has lived at the BETA shelter for over a year now and she was originally found as skin and bones at a horrific 80-100 dog puppy mill in the mountains of Lebanon where she lived her life until she was rescued by BETA. I personally met her on trip to Lebanon last year when we helped with the puppy mill seizure, and she is a sweetheart.
